A brief description of the channels on our server

#welcome gives information on the server's channels, similar to this page's guide.

#rules lists our what our server's rules are.

#links lists important links that are relevant to our server.

#partners hosts the invite links to partner servers. Feel free to check them out and join their growing communities as well!

#announcements is where updates about the server from the Moderator Team are shared with the community.

#pinboard is where you can see all the messages our members have voted to pin. To pin a message, check out the channel's description for instructions!

Social

#general is the channel for ALL discussion, including anything from band to off-topic discussions (as long as it follows the rules).

#corps-general is the channel for general drum corps discussion. Serious topics should go in ⁠#corps-serious.

#corps-serious is the channel for any serious discussion regarding drum corps performances, staff changes, and other drum corps discussion topics meant to be had in a serious manner.

#media is for general discussion of links that are off-topic and don't belong in #general (see Rules for more info).

#composition is the channel for talking about music literature and theory.

#sports is for discussion of all things sports.

Season 2024

#auditions is for talking about the audition process for any drum corps.

#corps-predictions is for genuine predictions regarding the DCI season.

#wgi-discussion is for discussion of WGI related events and happenings.

Sections

These channels are only visible after setting the appropriate matching instrument roles in #rolesetting (or matching position roles for #staff-leadership).

#brass is for discussion between brass instrument players.

#percussion is for discussion between percussion instrument players.

#guard is for discussion between colorguard members.

#staff-leadership is for discussion between Corps Staff and Drum Major role members.

Miscellaneous

#botspam is the place to mess around with our bots. Please use common sense when using the bots.

#mod-log is a public viewing of warnings, mutes, kicks, and bans on the server.

meta is a forum for discussion of the server with the moderators. Learn more about contacting the mods on our Contact Us page.

Voice Channels

#voice-chat is where you can talk if you are muted while in a Voice Channel or share links that are relevant to what is going on in the Voice Channel. You should also control our music bot (only usable while in Vibe Room 🎵), New Dr. Beat, here.

Freeblock 🚋 is where you can talk about anything that you would talk about in #voice-chat, but in a Voice Channel.

Vibe Room 🎵 is where you can either use the Music bot, New Dr. Beat, or play your instrument for others to hear.

Game Room 🎲 is where you can talk about the game you are currently playing with your fellow server friends.

Lights Out 💤 is where people go if they haven't been active on the server for 15 minutes but have been sitting in a Voice Channel for that long. You are automagically moved there by Discord.

The Pressbox is where we hold server listening events using Discord Stages, like for Q&A's, townhalls, or other guest speaker events.
